Kinetrol manufactures Universal Limit Switch (ULS) Boxes and Explosion Proof Limit Switch (XLS) Boxes which are available for mounting on Kinetrol rotary actuators or discrete mounting via VDI/VDE (NAMUR) interface on any brand of rotary actuator.

Kinetrol Universal Limit Switch Box ULS Features include:

• Units sealed to IP67/NEMA 6
• ATEX options are available with units rated to IP66 / NEMA 4X, IP67 option available

Kinetrol Universal Limit Switch Box General Specifications:

• Different switches for multiple ambient temperature ranges: standard is from -20°C (-4°F) to + 80°C (176°F). Certain switches can handle -40°C (-40°F) to + 80°C (176°F)
• Seals are nitrile rubber “O” ring seals
• Epoxy stove enamel finish on a diecast aluminum alloy casing, switch option 003 has Ex d diecast zinc alloy casing
• Cable entry options available: M20 x 1.5 conduit thread, 1/2” NPS conduit thread, 4-way plug DIN 43650A (fits either conduit thread), 4-way M12 connector (M20 Conduit only)

• All units are protected to IP66/NEMA 4X/TYPE 4X
• Worldwide explosion proof approvals include: IECEX, ATEX & FM (USA and Canada). FM option also comes IEC and ATEX approved
• Corrosion resistant housing
• Easy and accurate setting of switching position
• Threaded lid for rapid removal
• Discrete NAMUR drive for use with VDI/VDE 3845 drive actuators
• 2 or 4 cable entries available to allow back wiring of solenoid valves
• Up to 4 switches available for SPDT, DPDT or multiple circuit operation
